Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Pilot draft. This document is provided for informational purposes during the WinBin pilot and will be replaced by counsel-reviewed text before public launch.

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies WinBin uses on winbin.app, what they do, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. Cookies can keep you signed in, remember a preference, or measure how a site is used.

Cookies we use today

WinBin currently sets only what it needs to work:

  • Essential — sign-in. When a venue, sponsor, or admin signs in, we store a session token so you stay logged in across pages. Participants do not sign in and are not tracked to play.
  • Essential — your cookie choice. If we show a consent banner, we remember your choice so we do not ask again on every visit.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics that follow you around the web.

Analytics (when we add it)

Before public launch we may add privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the marketing site is used. If we do, any non-essential analytics cookies will load only after you accept them in the consent banner, and this page will be updated first.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and can break parts of the dashboards. Where a consent banner is shown, you can change your choice there at any time.

Changes

We will update this policy and the date above if our cookie use changes. For the full picture of how we handle data, see the Privacy Policy and Trust & Privacy overview.
